Well let me just preface this...I miss being in English and writing papers which gave me an excuse to write intelligently, in a way that is fading away like a setting sun...
I can't help but wish I were using a typewriter. The beautiful mechanics at work while I madly hit the keystrokes and doing my best not to make a mistake. No delete, no cut and paste, just a raw account of me and my flaws. Nothing is more exciting than the sound of each letter etching its way onto a clean white sheet of paper, and the dainty "ding" you hear when you've reached the end of the page and get to manually slide it back to continue typing. Yes, how I wish this were a typewriter.
